Welcome to Little Gems Childcare, a warm and nurturing early learning centre where every child is treasured, valued, and supported to shine. We provide education and care for children 2 to 6 years old, offering a safe, supportive, and home-like environment where tamariki can learn and grow.
Located in the heart of Papakura, Auckland, we offer a play-based curriculum that supports children's natural curiosity and love of learning. Our experienced educators are passionate about early childhood education and dedicated to helping each child reach their full potential.

Our Teaching Philosophy
Our teaching philosophy is guided by Te Whāriki, the New Zealand Early Childhood Curriculum, emphasising belonging, wellbeing, contribution, communication, and exploration. Through playful learning, creativity, music, outdoor experiences, and hands-on activities, we encourage tamariki to explore, question, and discover the world around them.
We celebrate culture, identity, and diversity, embracing the rich values of te ao Māori and weaving them into our daily practices. Our centre is a place where everyone—children, families, and staff—feels welcomed, respected, and valued.
